1. Tag 1Welcome to Tanzania – arrival in Arusha

   Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport, meet your guide and transfer to Arusha. Nestled at the foot of Mount Meru, Arusha is a vibrant city and the perfect gateway to Tanzania's iconic national parks. Rest at your lodge and get ready for the adventure.

2. Tag 2Arusha to Tarangire National Park

   Drive to Tarangire, known for its iconic baobab trees, large elephant herds and diverse wildlife. On your game drive look out for lions, leopards, giraffes, zebras and more than 550 bird species. Picnic lunch in the park.

3. Tag 3Tarangire to Central Serengeti

   An early departure through the Great Rift Valley brings you to the Serengeti. Your afternoon game drive explores vast savannahs with an incredible density of wildlife — lions, cheetahs and great herds of grazing animals.

4. Tag 4Central Serengeti to Northern Serengeti

   Travel north to the Mara River region to follow the Great Migration — wildebeest and zebras risking it all as they cross the crocodile-filled Mara River. Game drives along the riverbanks.

5. Tag 5Full day in the Northern Serengeti

   A full day exploring the northern landscapes. If you are lucky you will witness the dramatic river crossings, with wildebeest and zebras plunging into the Mara River. Picnic lunch in the wilderness and a sunset to remember.

6. Tag 6Northern Serengeti to the Ngorongoro Crater

   A morning game drive, then the journey to Ngorongoro — an ancient volcanic caldera that is home to a dense population of wildlife, including the Big Five. Evening at your lodge on the crater rim.

7. Tag 7Ngorongoro Crater adventure and departure

   Descend early into the caldera, where elephants, lions, buffaloes and rhinos roam freely. Picnic lunch inside the crater, then return to Arusha for your airport transfer.
