Booking and deposit
Your trip is confirmed once we have received a deposit of 30% of the total price. If you book within 30 days of the start date, the full amount is due at booking. The balance is due 30 days before you arrive in Tanzania. Payment details are sent with your quote by email and WhatsApp.
What the price includes
Each trip page lists what is and is not included. Park fees and taxes are set by the Tanzanian authorities; if they change before your trip, the difference may be passed on.
Cancellation by you
Please cancel in writing to info@journey2serengeti.com. The cancellation takes effect on the day we receive your email. The following charges apply:
- More than 60 days before the start date: the deposit is kept.
- 30–60 days before: 50% of the trip price.
- Fewer than 30 days before: 100% of the trip price.
We strongly recommend travel insurance that covers cancellation and medical evacuation.
Changes and leaving early
We are happy to change dates or itineraries when lodges and permits allow. No refunds are given for unused parts of a trip.
Cancellation by Journey2Serengeti
We cancel a trip only when circumstances beyond our control make it necessary, such as natural disasters, civil unrest or other force majeure events. In that case we offer an equivalent trip or a full refund of the money you have paid.
