An affordable way to combine wildlife and village life. The tour starts at Shoppers Arusha and heads to Tarangire National Park for game viewing — elephants, baobab trees, giraffes, zebras and antelopes — with a picnic lunch, by shuttle (maximum 12–15 passengers). Dinner and a night of camping follow at Twiga Campsite in Mto wa Mbu. The next morning you cycle around Mto wa Mbu village with views of Lake Manyara, meet the community and enjoy a traditional lunch prepared by a group of women from the village, before returning to Arusha. Departure is guaranteed.

  1. Day 1Arusha to Tarangire and Mto wa Mbu

    Meet at Shoppers Arusha and drive to Tarangire National Park for a game drive by shuttle bus — elephants, baobab trees, giraffes, zebras and antelopes — with a picnic lunch in the park. In the evening, dinner and an overnight stay at Twiga Campsite in Mto wa Mbu.

    After breakfast, a cycling tour around Mto wa Mbu village with community encounters and views of Lake Manyara. Lunch is a traditional meal prepared by a group of women from the village. Afternoon return to Arusha.
